Dear Soul,

November has come again, bringing with it Marilü’s anniversary. It’s been two years since this wonderful journey began. Marilü is more than just a project for me: it’s my creation, my soul’s twin, an extension of myself. It is something precious, to be nurtured and loved, so it can bring out the very best it has to offer.

Many ask me why “Marilü.” Marilü is my alter ego. It holds a part of my name, Mari, which in Italian also means “seas,” and the sea is at the heart of this holistic beauty project’s mission. Every treatment, every ritual draws its power from marine elements, from the sea’s own strength, a place where nature and energy meet for healing. And then there’s “Lü,” And then there’s “Lü,” evoking light (italian luce) the sunlight that awakens and regenerates, which inspires me in every massage and energy ritual.

This project has been a leap of faith for me. After many experiences and ventures in Italy, I left my city, and after a sabbatical year, the universe brought me here, to this magical and unexpected place: Bern. I barely knew of its existence, but from the moment I arrived, it felt like home. For us Milanese, Switzerland usually ends at Zurich, and yet Bern welcomed me and stole my heart in a way I’ll never forget. So I found what I was looking for, without even knowing I was looking for it: the chance to return to what I love most offering calm, peace, and renewed energy to each of my guests.

I consider myself deeply fortunate because I love every single part of what I do. Every ritual, every treatment is crafted with care and attention; each sequence, aroma, and note of music is chosen with love. My goal is to create a space where my guests can find sanctuary, feel embraced, and descend into the depth of their being. This, for me, is pure magic.

November, the eleventh month of the year, holds its own magic. It’s a time of introspection when we can truly connect with ourselves. Nature sleeps, inviting us to slow down, to warm our hearts with hugs and precious moments. I don’t believe it’s a coincidence that Marilü was born during this period; for me, coincidence doesn’t exist.
